As usual, every new academic year comes with its innovations. And the academic year of 2023-24 is not an exception. Starting from the new academic year, the State of New York implements the system of electronic testing CBT. Students of grades 3,4,6 and 7 will still take statewide tests in the old paper format as has been practiced for decades, whereas students of grades 5 and 8 will transition to the new electronic format version.
