Dear Friends,
It is hard to believe that we are approaching “springforward” time! It also happens to be the time when we conclude our third academic term, conduct ParentTeacher Conferences and plan for a well-deserved spring break. Please read the following spring updates and head into spring with a great spirit of optimism!
Upcoming PTC:
On March 15th, we will start our remote PTC sessions via the ZOOM. We will be happy to meet you virtually to discuss your child’s academic progress. ParentTeacher Conferences will now be accessible directly from eClass. We will send you the login directions several days before the event.
Middle School Digital Program
We are delighted to inform you that our Digital Middle School Program is up and running smoothly! We have ordered a great variety of educational software to support our advanced subject curricula. Additionally, we expect to launch our eighth-grade digital classrooms after Spring Break.
Keeping an Eye on The Honor Lists
As usual, we will continue to honor our star students’ academic achievements. The Dean’s List and Principal’s Honor Roll will be posted at the beginning of April. The Dean’s List will display the names of all students who score between 90 and 94% in all core subject areas combined. Students who maintain a GPA of 95 % and above will get their place on the Principal Honor Roll.
Tech Day – More Fun on Friday
I believe that our students work hard and deserve more inspiring incentives and some less formal time in school. Therefore, we have decided to set out the Last Friday of each month as the Tech Day. Students in classes K-8 will be permitted to bring their electronic devices and toys to school. We believe that the Tech Day will bring a lot of fun and promote muchneeded social interactions. However, please note that the school is not responsible for those devices, and students will have to comply with the school Tech Day Directions provided by the classroom teachers.
We wish you and your families all the best. Stay safe and keep up with the uplifting spring spirit!
Sincerely,
Vlad Gorny
Principal
